Marsing is a city located in Owyhee County, Idaho. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 890. As of the census of 2000, there are 890 people, 332 households, and 235 families residing in the city. The population density is 512.9/km² (1,331.0/mi²). There are 366 housing units at an average density of 210.9/km² (547.4/mi²).

There are 332 households out of which 32.8% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.7% are married couples living together, 14.5% have a female householder with no husband present, and 29.2% are non-families. 24.4% of all households are made up of individuals and 12.0% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.68 and the average family size is 3.24. In the city the population is spread out with 29.0% under the age of 18, 10.2% from 18 to 24, 24.6% from 25 to 44, 19.3% from 45 to 64, and 16.9% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 35 years. For every 100 females there are 105.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 94.5 males.
